The list includes, the iconic Queen Victoria Market which has a night market on Wednesday nights. Try to get there early as it is very very popular with locals and tourists. Also included is the National Gallery Of Victoria, known as the NGV. Melbourne is known as Australia’s cultural capital. Just below the heart of the city is St Kilda Road, which is our cultural centre. One of the impressive buildings here houses the NGV. It is immediately recognisable by the water veneer running down the front windows. Go on, you know you want to touch it to see if its realy. YES, it is. Inside are wonderful exhibitions from world famous artists. And, these exhibitions are constantly changing, so you can go back every month or so and discover new and exciting art on display. Melbourne is also home to the International Comedy festival, where you can get to see up to 1000 different plays, performances, acts. All designed to give you a good belly laugh.
