Posted on AirbnbVerified Thoroughly enjoyed my 1.5 months stay in this lovely unit. It was recently renovated to be very functional for travellers. Has everything I need including a washing machine. Excellent location, 5-10 walks to numerous cafes, restaurants, supermarkets and post office. It’s also an excellent base for an avid cyclist like myself to get to many nice bike trails, Albert Park and Beach Road. Whenever we had an issue or query they did their best to promptly find a solution. The apartment is clean and well equipt for long stays.The location of the apartment is very nice and safe with lots of shops and restaurants and in close proximity to the CBD, especially by bike down the yarra river trail. They made us feel so welcome and at home from the moment we landed, and were always available to advise with things to do around the city! They really made our transition to a new place seamless and were more than happy to give a helping hand, which has been so incredibly valuable to us. I was especially pleased with the nonslip surface of the walk in shower. Also although the mattress didn’t seem particularly special, I slept on it seven weeks and found that my normally bothersome hip arthritis stopped troubling me entirely. So I would rate this mattress excellent. Warning: There is a lift to the apartment, but unfortunately the apartment isn’t quite accessible as there is a step at the threshold. One more warning. South Yarra turns out to be a good location for heading off in several directions by train. However, this apartment is on a hill so both getting to train station or to Yarra River path required a rather steep descent, while getting to the botanical garden requires an ascent.
